The market has shrugged off a few jitters at the start of the year with plenty of hype re-entering the market in March with buyers confidently purchasing quality property, and in some cases paying prices slightly lower than what they would have expected to pay around 2022. Generally, values have been on a plateau since the post-Covid highs, and buyers are recognising this period as a buying opportunity which will eventually finish. Federal elections always put a dampener on real estate activity, however after this election with interest rates on a downward path, capital growth will regain its momentum.
